Tom Selfridge

For the last seven plus years, Tom has held the position of General Manager-Chief Engineer for the Truckee Sanitary District in the Lake Tahoe area. Prior to moving to Truckee, Tom was the Manager-Engineer for the Novato Sanitary District in Marin County. Tom’s work experience also includes 11 years as an engineer for East Bay Municipal Utility District in Oakland. Tom earned a B.S. degree from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, and a master’s degree from University of California, Berkeley. He is a registered Civil Engineer, and has served as Treasurer for two other non-profit organizations. Tom and his wife Gretchen reside in the small town of Sierraville located about 25 miles north of Truckee.
