California Association of Sanitation Agencies

The State Legislative Committee is a body appointed by the CASA President, comprised of Agency Directors, Managers, Attorneys, and Associates from all over California. Each year the Legislative Committee reviews and takes positions on legislation of interest to CASA members. Members of the Committee regularly provide technical information and real-world examples of policy implications of proposed legislation to the State Lobbyist to better inform legislators, legislative staff, and committee consultants of the reasons for CASA’s positions. The Committee works collaboratively each year to set the legislative agenda for CASA.
